Made 6 of these this year and each recipient loved them.

Some small updates could be made to the pattern, but it turned out cute. I found that the increases resulted in an opening that had jagged edges as you increased a lot at once, then don’t increase for several rows. I understand why (because of the puff stitches), but increases could be done more consistently so the opening has a straighter edge. That being said, the simplicity made this easier to make. This is a bit nit-picky of me since the opening goes toward the back of the tree. The other thing this does not have is a gauge swatch so you can adjust your yarn- although it does mention adjusting for the number of strands or using chunky yarn. This made it hard to plan how much yarn. I ended up using a 12mm hook and 2 strands of medium weight yarn (instead of 3), and used about 8-9 balls of wool ease worsted weight yarn

Super cute and easy to follow

This is a fantastic pattern! I used a chunky wool yarn in place of the 3 strands for a more cozy look and it’s great so far. Very easy to read for an intermediate crocheter.

Absolutely loved the pattern!! Super easy to follow and it was fun to make!!! The different stitches kept it interesting kept my attention till the end!!
