This pattern in great. This was my first time trying an applique and it went really well. I did try to glue the pieces as suggested in the patterns, but it did not hold at all, so I ended up sewing it on. Also, I didn't like the idea of buttons on a small child's item, for safety reasons, so I embroidered the eyes. I am quite happy with the result and so was the family that received it.
